About us

Leisure Lounge specialises in the manufacture of top quality, custom-made upholstered furniture which is manufactured in our Durban-based factory. We offer a range of over 200 designs, with each item being custom-made to the customer’s exact requirements. We take pride in our exemplary service. Visit one of our showrooms to fully appreciate the choice and quality of our extensive range. Established in 1992 by father and son team, Pat & Lynton Lloyd, the business has grown extensively from primarily a reupholstery business to one of the leaders in the furniture manufacturing industry. An extensive selection of sample books from all leading fabric houses are available for perusal at the showroom, while all designs are also offered in genuine full grain Bovine leathers. We are also approved Scotchgard Agents should this treatment be required. Most designs are available as single chairs, two-seaters, two-half seaters, three-seaters and in most cases as sleeper couches. Prices and meterages are available on our product page.

We bought our first lounge suite from Leisure Lounge in 2003. It is still around and in good condition, we only had it recovered because the fabric had dated. Over the years we bought couches, dining room chairs and occasional chairs to furnish a new home and more recently we refurnished an entire home because of the April 2022 floods in Durban.
